All these sick feelings have dripped from the ceiling and in our ears while we were fast asleep.
They crept on us slowly, before we could know we were stripped of all the things we'd like to keep.
And it's so sad pretending my life's where I planned it would be.

I've gotta shed this dead skin I've been living in, climbing out from all the ashes I'm ready to begin.
